The reason I am The way I am
Her dreams are filled with remorse and sadness As her mind plays a reoccurring story Of memories that can only fade but never completely obliterate She cries because you sang songs of loneliness to the world and nobody thought your voice was beautiful She cries because your mind is filled with disgusting thoughts of stealing her ignorance And she found out too soon that ignorance is bliss in a world like this Where people are used and abused She cries silently because why should anybody care enough for her to pipe up She’s not the only one whose head is fucked up The voices inside her head remind her that the sick allegories in her dreams are true And even though you made her like this When she cries she cries for your loneliness
